Kicking off the 26th Annual Dinner Series with a blast from the past…a backyard summer bash with performances from Moderator Band. The band is composed of philanthropists and local doctors – no stethoscope needed: you heard that right – who “banded” together in 1985. They cover songs from the 1960s up to present day; you may just hear The Beatles, David Bowie, and Tom Petty as you dance the night away. Fuel your dancing stamina with delicious small bites and full bar with specialty cocktail, beer and wine.
Location: SW Portland.
Dinner at My House Dinner Series began in 1993 when a group of Our House supporters came up with the idea of having dinner at each others’ homes in exchange for donations to Our House
The first Dinner Series consisted of only seven dinners and we now have approximately 70 dinners per season
100% of proceeds support programs and services for people living with HIV
Our House provides healthcare, housing, and other vital services to low-income people living with HIV.
Our House has been part of the Portland community since 1988. Our services have expanded but our commitment to people living with HIV has remained the same. The Our House team of expert clinicians works with people with advanced HIV who are having difficulty managing independent living. Our programs and services include: Neighborhood Housing & Care Program, Esther’s Pantry and Tod’s Corner.
